Dr. Franco Baldo was born in 1971. He graduated in Medicine & Surgery at the University of Pavia. In 1998 he obtained his specialization in Orthopaedics & Traumatology at the University of Insubria (Varese) with Professor Cherubino.

From 2009 to 2011 he worked as director of the complex department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the hospital of Vercelli. In 2011 he began working as a freelance professional as head of the operational unit at the San Siro Clinical Institute in Milan.

In 2016 he became head of the Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology at the Humanitas Mater Domini Clinical Institute of Castellanza.

His surgical activity focuses on hip prosthetic replacement through Direct Anterior Approach and knee prosthetic surgery with Subvastus Technique. Both approaches are characterized by a very low level of invasiveness.

In addition to the above-mentioned surgical activity, Dr. Franco Baldo also offers an international teaching activity focused on the teaching of the minimally invasive technique of prosthetic surgery of the hip through direct anterior approach.
